Terms and Conditions
These terms govern use of Demo 01 E-books Portal, a digital library designed for universities, libraries, students, faculty and researchers. Please use the portal in accordance with these terms and your institution’s access arrangements.
University Access
E-book availability depends on the collection assigned to your university and the services enabled for its account. The portal’s campus-access model is based on public IP addresses registered for each institution. Where IP authentication is enabled, access requires a connection recognised as belonging to that institution. An institutional login, where available, is subject to the account’s access settings.
Institutional Responsibilities
University and library administrators should provide accurate contact and network details, keep registered IP addresses current and report changes to their network or authorised contacts. An IP address may be registered to only one university at a time. Keep account credentials confidential and report suspected misuse through our Contact Us page.
Permitted Use of E-books
Authorised readers may use available e-books for study, teaching and research within the permissions granted for each title. Access to a PDF does not transfer copyright or grant permission to redistribute it. Downloading, printing or copying is permitted only where the applicable licence and law allow it.
Prohibited Use
Do not share protected PDFs publicly, resell access, disclose institutional credentials to unauthorised people, bypass access controls or use automated tools to collect entire books or collections without permission. Do not interfere with the service or misrepresent your university affiliation.
Collections and Service Availability
Titles, access periods and available functions may vary by institution and may change. A catalogue listing, including a forthcoming title, does not by itself establish an entitlement to read that title. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems or investigation of misuse. Contact your library if a resource you expect to access is unavailable.
Intellectual Property
E-books, cover images and other materials remain subject to the rights of their respective authors, publishers and other rights holders. Retain copyright notices and observe any title-specific restrictions.
Institutional Agreements
Any separately agreed institutional licence governs its collection, duration and commercial arrangements. These website terms do not replace that agreement or limit rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Privacy and Changes
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. We may revise these terms as the portal develops; the current version will be published here.
